Well, I'm going from Halloween to Christmas. I feel guilty because it's only August but I just can't help myself with all this new product in my hands! I made this card for the challenge at Stamping 411. I have to admit that I purchased the Open Sleigh stamp set purely for the stocking. I fell in love with it the minute I saw it in the 2012 catalog. Hopefully I'll get around to using the sleigh too.
Have you noticed the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack on p. 20 in the Holiday Catalog? It's not all Christmas designs or colors and the size is 4 1/2 x 6 1/2, which is perfect for your card making. I used the Apothecary Accents Framelits for my focal point on my card and used the new Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack with it. That was fun and gave it a nice effect.
Here's my take on the sketch.
Supplies:
Stamp sets - Open Sleigh
Card Stock - Lucky Limeade, Cherry Cobbler, Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack, Whisper White
Ink - Cherry Cobbler
Accessories - Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack, new Paper- Piercing Tool, Large Scallop Edgelits, Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons, Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine
Love it! Love how you used the Framelet for the focal point with the stocking and love your DSP and accents. Oh lets just say it's all Fab!!!
