I'm home from convention!

Well, I sure didn't do very well posting from convention, did I?  When I posted the one on Thursday, I had the best internet connection I've ever had in a public place. Well, the next two nights I couldn't get it to do anything!! So I just couldn't get any more information out there.  But I had a wonderful trip. It was 4 days packed with fun and information. I learned so much and feel energized about my business.  Stampin' Up! is truly a wonderful company. If you ever think about becoming a demonstrator, you sure wouldn't regret it!! Be sure and let me know if you are inclined at all!!

One of the special things you get to do at convention is march across the stage for certain milestones. I got to march twice this year. One for being a demonstrator for 10 years and also for reaching the sales point of $100,000.00. My friends were in charge of taking my picture while I went on stage, but they didn't get a picture of my 10 year walk at all. The sales march is taken off the jumbo tron so it's not a real good picture, but I wanted to share.

I took pictures of lots of samples and traded lots of swaps so I've got a ton of new ideas.  I placed an order from the mini catalog yesterday (demonstrators are allowed to preorder). I can't wait to try out the new Christmas and Halloween stuff!!
Today's card is a CASE of a card I received as a swap from Sarah Mannello (Danbury, CT).

Supplies:
Stamp sets - Papillon Potpourri, Petite Pairs
Cardstock - Whisper White, Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit, Floral District DSP
Ink - Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit, Primrose Petals
Accessories - Scallop trim border punch, Large and Scallop oval punches, Fancy Fan Textured Impressions Embossing Folder,  Simply Scored Scoring Tool, 3/8" Summer Starfruit Stitched Satin ribbon, blender pen, Stampin' Dimensionals

I colored the butterflies with a blender pen and ink pressed into the lid of my ink pads of Primrose Petals and Summer Starfruit. I added a little water to the Primrose lid to make it a shade lighter.
