Masking Tape Technique

First, this card is a CASE from Denise A Spartz.  It uses the masking tape technique, but actually I used painter's tape. That way you don't have to worry about it sticking to your cardstock.  I'm sorry, but I mixed and matched my flowers sets to get this card. I'll show you a few photos so you know how I did the masking tape technique.

Supplies:
Stamp sets - Secret Garden, Field Flowers (for the stem), It's Your Birthday (retired)
Cardstock - Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White
Ink - Wisteria Wonder, Always Artichoke
Accessories - Painter's tape, Secret Garden Framelits, Big Shot, Extra Large Oval punch

For the Masking Tape technique, first place a torn piece of painter's tape sticky side down on your ink pad and carefully rub it with your fingers so that it will collect ink on the sticky side. Be careful not to get your fingers too messy, as it will get all over your cardstock and you won't like that look!

Pull the tape off and place it where you want it on your cardstock.

Peel off the tape and the ink will be left on your cardstock.
If you like the look, play with it a little. It isn't hard.

  2. Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I wasn't sure what the reaction would be. It's a "little outside the box" stamping for me.
