So Sorry with Sycamore Street DSP

I have a friend who was in a very bad car accident and I wanted to make her a card with this So Sorry stamp set. I chose the inside sentiment to say "bad things happen to good people".  I made the card using the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper (that was free during Sale-a-bration) with Baja Breeze card stock. I sure am going to miss Baja Breeze, now that it's being retired.  But, yea!!, the tea lace doilies are being continued into the new catalog!!

Supplies:
Stamp sets - So Sorry
Card stock - Baja Breeze, Sycamore Street DSP
Ink - Rich Razzleberry
Accessories - Baja Breeze seam binding, White Tea Lace Doilies, small Twitterpated buttons, white crochet thread (not SU), mini glue dots

This card is 4 1/4" x 4 1/4".

More New Products

Today's card features the Modern Mosaic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the stamp set Label Love that has a new coordinating punch, the Artisan Label.  The two new In Colors I used were Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe.
Supplies:
Stamp sets - Label Love
Card stock - Pistachio Pudding, Whisper White
Ink - Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe
Accessories - Modern Mosaic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Artisan Label Punch, 1" circle punch., Tea Lace Paper Doilies, 3/8" Whisper White Taffeta Ribon, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' Sponge

Once again, I inked the inside of the top flap on the embossing folder with the Pistachio Pudding ink.  Tap lightly, do not press or it will get on the "inside" where you don't want it.  Then place your card stock in the folder and run through the Big Shot.

Sneak Peak at Some New Products

For today's card I used several new products that will be available in the new 2014-2014 catalog. You can order from it starting June 1!! Some of you already have copies of it.  I love it! and I'd like for you to tell me what you think of it! The card is made with Pool Party.Remember, it stayed as a Subtles color. The DSP is Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Series Paper. The new Embossing Folder is called Modern Mosaic and it coordinates with the stamp set Mosaic Madness and has a punch that coordinates too (Mosaic punch). To get the colored effect on the embossed image, I inked up the front side of the embossing folder with the Pistachio Pudding ink.  Just tap it lightly so the ink stays on the outline.  If it gets in the center of the image it will show!!

Supplies:
Stamp sets - Mosaic Madness, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Card stock - Pool Party. Quatrefancy DSP, Whisper White
Ink - Pool Party, Island Indigo
Accessories - Modern Mosaic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Mosaic punch, Word Window and Modern Label punches, Pool Party ribbon (retired), Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' sponge

Field Flowers EnFrancais

Elegant Eggplant was the color for today. My ladies at the nursing home were very pleased. Purple is not a color I use very often, but I guess I need to use it more for them.  And Elegant Eggplant is a beautiful shade!
I used the second largest Oval Framelit on a piece of card stock that was 5 1/4" x 4" and was stamped on with the EnFrancais background stamp. I stamped it in Wisteria Wonder so the Elegant Eggplant flowers would stand out more.

Supplies:
Stamp sets - Field Flowers, EnFrancais
Card stock - Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White
Ink - Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive
Accessories - Ovals Collection Framelits,  Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder,
3/8" Whisper White taffeta ribbon, Stampin' Sponge

Elements of Style is retiring

The Elements of Style stamp set is retiring and I'm sure it will be missed by many.  It has such a pretty floral arrangement and it's a great size. I decided to make one more card from this set.  I got my idea from Regina Andari.  Before I post all the details, let me tell you it's much prettier in person. If the sides are a little ragged for you, just don't distress them.

Supplies:
Stamp sets - Elements of Style
Card stock - Crumb Cake, Basic Black
Ink - Staz on Black
Accessories - Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Small oval and 1" circle punches, Crumb Cake 3/8" taffeta ribbon, distressing tool, Stampin' Dimensionals

I stamped the flowers two times to fill the whole panel. I stamped with Black Staz On first, then ran it through the Big Shot in the embossing folder.

Here it is in Baja Breeze.
