Ink - Not Quite Navy, Crumb Cake, Riding Hood Red

This is the inside of the card. I didn't stamp a sentiment. I will use it as a notecard.

Papaya Collage

Boy, have I been on a whirlwind pace for the last several days and I haven't had any time to stamp.  The family reunion that was at my house is over and I'm happy to say it went very well!! But I had a ton of food left over! I thought I prepared for 40, but I guess I must have prepared for about a 100 based on what was left over :)  I'm happy that I was able to get us all together and it was sure worth the work!

But I do have a card to share with you today. It's made with Papaya Collage. This is a fun set to work with!

Supplies:
Stamp sets - Papaya Collage, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Cardstock - Baja Breeze, Whisper White
Ink - Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy
Accessories - Bitty Banners Framelits, Baja Breeze 3/8" seam binding, Basic Pearls, Stampin' Sponges, Stampin' Dimensionals

The flowers are cut out and mounted with dimensionals.

Comfort Cafe with Layered Labels

Today's post is very simple, yet pretty! It uses the new Designer Series Paper, Comfort Cafe. It has some very pretty florals in the pack but has some great masculine prints too! Check it out.  The stamp set is Layered Labels and it coordinates with the new Apothecary Accents Framelints.  The top card has the greeting stamped in Cajun Craze, the bottom one in Summer Starfruit.  I told you the Summer Starfruit is growing on me. I like it!

Inside of card

Supplies:
Stamp sets - Layered Labels, Just Believe (for inside)
Cardstock - Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Comfort Cafe DSP

Raspberry Ripple and Primrose Petals

My card today uses two of the new 2012 In Colors together. I like all of the new colors. Even Summer Starfruit is starting to grow on me! The squares on this card are cut, not punched. The punch was a little too small for my flowers to really be the focal point.
Supplies:
Stamp sets - Fabulous Florets, Pursuit of Happiness
Cardstock - Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals, Whisper White
Ink - Primrose Petals
Accessories - Scallop Edge Border punch, Basic Pearls, Stampin' Sponge, Stampin' Dimensionals

Papaya Collage

I LOVE this card! It is a total case from a fellow demonstrator from Canada, Sheri Hofley. It is one of the cards we made at my New Catalog Open House on Sat. There is quite a bit of cutting (not punching) on this card so there was a lot of groaning about it, but I think it was totally worth it!
Supplies:
Stamp sets - Papaya Collage, En Francais
Cardstock = Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla
Ink - Baja Breeze, Basic Bray, Midnight Muse
Accessories - Scissors :)  Vintage Wallpaper, Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Baja Breeze seam binding, Basic Rhinestones, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' sponge,Glue Dots

Thank you, Shannon!

Thanks so much to Shannon Angel for nominating me for the Liebster Blog award!  Shannon is a blog pal of mine that I meet recently online and she was kind enought to nominate me for the Liebster Blog award.  I have won it before, but somehow my badge doesn't show on my blog anymore so Shannon didn't know.  One of the requirements of winning the blog is to thank the nominee and make a link to her blog. So please check out Shannon's blog, you're gonna like what you see!   http://shansdesignstudio.blogspot.com/   I'm going to forgo the other requirements since I've already done them. Thanks again, Shannon, for making my day and making me feel special!

Fabulous Florets

When I was making yesterday's challenge card, I started out thinking I could use the Flower Garden Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on each side of my image, but I didn't have enough room. But in playing with that idea, I came up with this card. It made such a beautiful summer card.

Stamp sets - Fabulous Florets
Cardstock - Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
Ink - Gumball Green, Daffodil Delight
Accessories - Flower Garden Textured Impressions embossing folder, 1/8" Daffodil Delight taffeta ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' sponge

TSSC223 Daring Adventure

Well, this is my second post for today. I made a card for Mary Jo's Technostamper sketch challenge. I've been looking at it for a few days trying to figure out what I wanted to do with it.  I know it's the first day of the new catalog, but I used the retired DSP of Well Worn for my card.  It seemed to lend itself well to the sketch.

Supplies:
Stamp sets - Daring Adventure, Sanded (retired)
Cardstock - Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Well Worn DSP (retired)
Ink - Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Not Quite Navy
Accessories - Soft Suede 3/8" taffeta ribbon, Stampin' sponge, Stampin' Dimensionals

Happy New Year, Stampin' Up! Style

Yes, it's only June 1, but it's the beginning of the new catalog year at Stampin' Up! If you haven't already seen the new catalog, you'll want to get your hands (or eyes if you are online) on it now! If you've ever thought about being a demonstrator, I don't think there has ever been a better time with the promotion they are offering now!  Go to my SU website http://www.stampwithdianecaron.stampinup.net/ and get all the details! Then let me know what you think.

Today was another craft day at the nursing home. I haven't shown you the last few cards because they have been ideas that I have already posted on my blog. But today's is new.  It's an old idea made with retired stamp sets, but when I got the idea and prepared all the pieces for the ladies, the temp was above 90 and the thought of a popsicle sure sounded appealing.  Well today, it's cold and rainy. I think the temp is still in the 50's, but we made them anyway.  They sure got a kick out of making them.  I had everything stamped, cut, and punched for them today - all the pieces in a bag. Sure was a fast project. Hope it wasn't too fast for them.

Supplies:
Stamp sets - Friendly Phrases, Tart and Tangy (retired), and Polka Dot (retired)
Cardstock - Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White
Ink - Melon Mambo, Melon Mambo and Wild Wasabi markers
Accessories - Scallop circle punch, 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punch, Stampin' sponge, popsicle stick

This card is a case from Angie Kindig.
