Watercolor Words

I made a card for my youngest granddaughter who just received her reading scores for the 3rd grade guarantee reading test and she hit it out of the ballpark! The "teacher-grandma" in me had to recognize her so she'd know how important it was, so I made her this cute little card.  It uses only the Watercolor Words stamp set and I found a piece of red polka dotted ribbon in my scrap ribbon basket so it helped me decide on what colors of cardstock to use.

Supplies:
Stamp sets - Watercolor Words
Cardstock - Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White
Ink - Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight marker
Accessories - Ribbon, Stampin' Sponge, Stampin' Dimensionals

Garden in Bloom in Blackberry Bliss

I made another card with Garden in Bloom on the Scalloped Tag Topper. The flower is stamped in Blackberry Bliss with Crushed Curry in the center. The DSP is Crushed Curry polka dots from the Regals Designer Series Paper Stack.  I just love the cute little bee!  I put him on the inside too!

Supplies:
Stamp sets - Garden in Bloom, Wetlands
Cardstock - Whisper White, Regals Designer Series Paper Stack (in Crushed Curry)
Ink - Blackberry Bliss, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Scalloped Tag Topper punch, 5/8" White Organza ribbon, Blackberry Bliss 3/8" stitched satin ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals

English Garden Designer Series Paper

Today's card only has a stamped sentiment.  The rest is designer paper and cardstock.  The English Garden Designer Series Paper is really beautiful. I saw some cards that I really liked online and thought they were stamped with Garden in Bloom. Turns out it was the English Garden DSP and not stamped at all.  I used an old retired set for my Birthday Wishes but any sentiment will do.

Supplies:
Stamp sets - Sincere Salutations (retired)
Cardstock - Soft Suede, English Garden Designer Series Paper
Ink - Night of Navy
Accessories - Large Oval punch, Soft Suede Taffeta Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' Sponge

Beautiful Bunch on a Brick Wall

For this card, I started with the Watercolor Wash stamp in Smoky Slate. Then I ran it through the Brick Wall 6 x 6 Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. It looks fabulous. Even easier than coloring in the grooves for the mortar look. The large flower is from Beautiful Bunch with the coordinating Fun Flower punch. I added a few flowers from Petite Petals (and it's coordinating punch with the same name) and mounted them with Stampin' Dimensionals over a leaf framelit using the Big Shot. Any type of leaf will do. Celebrate You is from Birthday Blossoms.

Supplies:
Stamp sets - Watercolor Wash, Beautiful Bunch, Petite Petals, Birthday Blossoms
Cardstock - Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Always Artichoke
Ink - Rose Red, Smoky Slate
Accessories - Big Shot, Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing folder, Fun Flower, Petite Petals, and Large Oval punches, leaf framelit, Basic Rhinestones, Stampin' Dimensionals

Birthday Blossoms

I'm still not stamping much, this "house selling" is really cramping my style! No offers yet. :(  But I have made a few things for my stamp club, workshop, and nursing home visits. This card uses a new stamp set called Birthday Blossoms.  The sentiments are great and it's very simple to make an elaborate looking card with some easy stamping and the coordinating Pansy punch. It's one of the first stamp sets in the 2015 catalog on p 8. Check it out.

Supplies:
Stamp sets - Birthday Blossoms
Cardstock - Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White
Ink - Wisteria Wonder, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz
Accessories - Pansy punch, Spring Flowers Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' Sponge

The leaves are stamped directly on the paper and the flowers are punched with the Pansy punch and popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals
